Cleared Lemon Myrtles and Mango trees. Brush-cut hill and pruned lemon
myrtle trees heavily. Removed the old chicken wire guards from the
mango trees. The mangos are in a poor condition. Almost all stems
have been attacked my wallabies. An Israeli visitor, Pinnie, suggested
to use ag-pipe as a tree guard. That's what we did. We put cow-shit
around all the mangos and mulched them with organic hey. After the
rain almost all mangos sprouted at an impressive rate. The lemon
myrtles are in flower. The hill looks much better now.
We cut lemon myrtles right
back, only keeping the strongest stem on some of them.
