Horn lifting.
With the help of many visitors we lifted about 50 horns. The forth time the pit has been used. This time there were very few earth worms (in contrast to last year) but an enormous amount of white roots. We suspect that these roots came from the pumpkins growing on top of the pit. But we are not sure. Half of the 500 was lost this way. However, the other half is of very good quality.
Also stirred with flow-form and two coppers. 500 on most of the farm, all gardens, gatehouse garden, east slope and plantations, top areas both east & west.
Also lifted Yarrow. Again an unusual number of roots permeating through the preparations. Apart from that, quality seem pretty good.
