Primarily compost consists of decaying plants and animals. In this matter the 'physical, ethereal and astral' aspects are declining and dispersing. The biodynamic composting methods are directed to capture these subtleties before they disappear and form them into a physical entity rich in ethereal and astral principles, ready to receive and promote the seed.
