The Seven Biodynamic Considerations
1. Fertilise with compost. Make your own compost using biodynamic preparations.
2. Make you soil alive. Fertile soil makes for fertile plants. You feed the soil to grow the plants. Grow you soil and everything else will look after itself.
3. Treat the land with BD preparations regularly. Make your own 500 and 501. Learn about the others. Experiment.
4. Make you farm diverse. Keep animals and as many different crops as possible. Keep nature reserves. Plant trees and pleasure areas.
5. Your farm is a hermetic entity and in an ideal situation the farm should produce for all of its own needs. Keep it simple and manageable.
6. You as the farmer are part of the whole farm system. Get to know your farm in great detail. Keep records. Let the land speak to you.
7. Learn to understand Steiner's ideas better and see yourself and the farm as part of a greater cosmic expression. Observe the stars and plant and weed by their rhythm. Understand the desire of all sentinel beings to express ego potentiality.
