Shade-house coming along. New beds for prep seed stock.

Top paddock slashed and racked. Good quantity of hay. Planted rainforest trees along the wildlife corridor. Planted cabinet timber trees along the front fence as well as various ornamental trees near the gate. Blue Quandong Figs and Davidson Plums along the lower gully creek. Shifted the flow-form into the people garden. Painted the two water-tanks next to the shed - pea green. Look great from Left Bank Road. Pulled out all the old watering system in the Upper Plantation. started to lift various rocks that interfere with slashing. Organised rod repair. Took out various fences and cleared lantana. The place is starting to look quite nice.

MAKING 500: 31/5/03 -  (New Moon)

Today, in a joint effort, we filled and buried about 100 cow horns. The pit is located just below the Golden Gift Pecan Orchard. The spot, according to Linda, has specific female energy. It faces north/east and slopes down to south. We found the soil rich and full of worms. There have been heavy rains recently and it appeared that there is some sort of a small spring to the very left of the pit. We constructed a drainage channel above the pit and another to the left so that the area on which the horn sit is quite dry. There were some concerns expressed about this wetness. We placed two mounds of fresh cow shit above the pit as a decoy for worms. Thanks to Susanna, Isabelle, Kay, Hubert and of course Linda.
