Aracaria is a 22 acre (approx 10 hectare) property near Mullumbimby, Northern NSW. Facing north-east and only 8k out of town, the land looks across two lush and fertile valleys offering glimpses of the ocean to the east and a dramatic panorama of the escarpment to the west. The graceful cone of Mount Chincogan marks the north. The area is part of the ancient Mount Warning volcanic system.

Set up on bio dynamic principles, the land has been cleaned and purified for 9 years.  In early 2002 circumstances changed, the farm was sold and a building site was cleared. It looked
the end had come for the bio dynamic dream.

Fate interfered and miraculously and by chance alone, within weeks, the land changed hands again and from now on the continuation of the bio dynamic approach for this land is secured for the long-term future.

The intention is to slowly, in the natural course of time, grow the land into a pristine and living artwork that expresses a vital new sense of land nurturing.

The Aracaria motto is: “Let the land reveal itself and come to you.”
The Aracaria approach to land management is non-intrusive.
The Aracaria aim is rehabilitate, purify, demonstrate and self-suffice.
The time frame for the first stage is 20 years.

This website will record progress and events. It will seek to inform and educate on land, planting and growing related issues. Eventually it will serve as an open forum and resource exchange to all who believe that the seeding of subtle and profound ideas is important and valuable.
