Nov. 1. Ginger taken out from the Linda Garden where it was planted 18 months ago. Roots are broken up into smaller sections.
Planted into Lower Terrace, western bed. Method: dig hole, fill with sand to break up heavy clay. Gently plant ginger, backfill and cover with mulch. Planted approx. 60 plants. 2/3 of bed done.
